A Miami native, Moira McGuinn attended Carrollton School, Coral Gables Senior High, and graduated from the University of Miami. She pursued Soviet Studies at the University of Miami Graduate School for International Studies. She was married to Bradford McGuinn at Plymouth in 1989. Brad is a Ph.D. in Middle Eastern Studies on faculty at the University of Miami. He also is actively lecturing on Geopolitics and Terrorism for American Special Operations Forces. For 15 years Moira taught piano and worked in youth ministries here at Plymouth before leaving to attend Princeton Theological Seminary. She became an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ in October of 2003. |
